    An SLT that got ordered to go somewhere.

    X31 is a mechanical package, not an appearance group --- off-road suspension, hill descent control, skid plates underneath, a heavy-duty air filter, and the two-speed Autotrac transfer case to put it all to work. The Protection version of it adds the spray-on bedliner and the all-weather liners, which tells you the truck was specified by somebody who planned to use it rather than keep it clean.

    Then it turns around and gives you ventilated front seats and heated second-row outboards. Sterling Metallic over Jet Black perforated leather, 275/60R20 all-terrains on 20-inch polished aluminum.
